• Dr. Maddali earned his M.D. from Cornell University with the highest distinction possible, election into the national Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.
• Completed 9 years of post-doctorate surgical training, including a General Surgery residency at Cornell's New York Presbyterian Hospital
• Fellowship completed in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of California in San Francisco.
• Published numerous articles based on original research
• Given multiple presentations nationally and internationally on a variety of surgical topics, including inflammation and its effects on healing.

Dr. Maddali has a very diverse cultural background. His parents moved from their native India to Nigeria, where he was born and spent most of his childhood. He then lived in India briefly before his family left in pursuit of the American dream and finally settled in New York City where Dr. Maddali completed his high school education at Stuyvesant High School, one of the most prestigious public high schools of the country.

His continued drive for excellence took him to Brown University, Rhode Island, where he graduated magna cum laude and obtained his Bachelors of Science. He then returned to New York City and graduated as Doctor of Medicine with the highest honor of Alpha Omega Alpha at the prestigious Cornell University Medical School.

Dr. Maddali is skilled in surgery of the breast, abdomen, eyes and face. His San Francisco plastic surgery practice also offers the most popular non-surgical skin treatments, including Botox, Restylane, Juvederm, Sculptra, Fraxel laser therapy, and SilkPeel Dermal-Infusion.

In his San Francisco practice, Dr. Maddali is fortunate to be joined by his wife, Vera Komisarjevsky, a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner who trained at Columbia University in the heart of New York City. Their team approach to patient care provides an excellent, thoughtful and well-coordinated experience for our patients. Together, they enjoy traveling around the world, and spending time outdoors with their dogs, Cola and Buzzy.
