Latisse Eyelash

Latisse is the first FDA approved eyelash enhancement drug, brought to you by Botox manufacturer Allergan Inc. Latisse was developed after doctors discovered that bimatoprost - an ingredient used in glaucoma drugs - had a desirable side effect; it caused patients to grow long, beautiful eyelashes.

Latisse is specially formulated for cosmetic use. You brush the solution along the lash line, like an eyeliner, and it maintains the growth phase of your eyelashes, gradually making them thicker, longer, and darker.

Results of Latisse

In clinical trials, more than 75 percent of participants reported significant eyelash enhancement; on average, their lashes were 25 percent longer, 106 percent fuller, and 18 percent darker. Results are seen after approximately 4 weeks, but they are not permanent. Lashes will return to their original state if patients discontinue their use of Latisse.

Who should consider Latisse?

Latisse is available only by prescription to treat ‘hypotrichosis’ - a condition characterized by 'inadequate' eyelashes. To be prescribed Latisse, you should be healthy and have no associated allergies.  If you are dissatisfied with the length and fullness of your eyelashes, and you are interested in Latisse eyelash enhancement, contact our office in San Francisco today to schedule an appointment.
